Environmental signals
Natural frequencies
In an intact environment, we are exposed to various natural frequencies and frequency spectra to which our organism is accustomed:
Schumann frequency
This frequency is permanently maintained between the earth's surface and the ionosphere by discharges in the atmosphere (thunderstorms).
This creates a so-called transverse magnetic wave with a fundamental frequency of 7.8 Hz – the main value of the Schumann frequency spectrum. Its harmonics extend into the megahertz range.
A part of the brain of all mammals, the hippocampus, also oscillates at 7.8 Hz. The hippocampus is important for attention and the ability to concentrate, among other things.
In one study, a group of people were placed in a room that was shielded from all physiological environmental signals. After a while, most of them suffered from headaches, nausea and dizziness. These symptoms disappeared after the room was exposed to the Schumann frequency, thus exposing the people to the natural frequency again.
Schumann frequency
Important with regard to Dr. Ludwig’s magnetic field devices:
The main value of the Schumann frequency spectrum, the 7.8 Hz described above, can be selected on all Dr. Ludwig devices.
Our small devices have preset programs (frequencies) – 7.8 Hz is always one of these selectable programs.
The large devices have a bandwidth of 0.1 – 1000 Hz anyway, so you can set any frequency you want, including 7.8 Hz.

Geomagnetic frequencies
Geomagnetic frequencies
The earth's natural magnetic field absorbs these vibration patterns - this is called "modulation". This means that in our natural environment we are constantly in contact with the information of the trace elements.
According to measurements by geologists and physicians, the earth's crust contains the same trace elements as erythrocytes, the red blood cells - and in almost the same ratio to each other.
Important with regard to Dr. Ludwig’s magnetic field devices:
Dr. Ludwig developed a method that allows the frequency spectrum of these 64 trace elements to be modulated onto iron nuclei.
The iron cores structurally modified in this way are installed in all of our devices so that the information of the specific vibration patterns of the trace elements is automatically transmitted with the pulsating magnetic field generated by the device. This happens regardless of which frequency you set on the device.
This means that the geomagnetic frequencies are automatically generated with each of our devices as soon as you switch the device on.
Solar frequencies
Solar frequencies
However, there are two “windows” in the atmosphere through which certain frequencies from the sun reach us:
- Light in the visible range
- Frequencies in the FM range
It can be seen that for every visible frequency there is a corresponding frequency in the VHF range. These are the solar frequencies.
Important with regard to Dr. Ludwig’s magnetic field devices:
In order for the solar frequencies to be emitted by the device, an additional generator must be installed. Not all devices have enough space for this additional generator.
In our “little Ludwig” (the MEDISEND®), the MEDISEND®protect and the CEPES-Laser®, the generator for the solar frequencies was not installed in order to improve handling.
On the other hand, it can be found in the METRONOM solar and METRONOM C as well as in the MEDICUR®pro and the MEDICUR®color – in the latter device, the solar frequency spectrum is even split into seven different colors.
The generator for the entire solar frequency spectrum is of course also included in the complete product range of large devices.
Yin-Yang balance

Classical Chinese medicine, which is thousands of years old, already knew:
Humans need two environmental signals:
A Yang signal from above (Schumann or solar frequencies) and a Yin signal from below (geomagnetic frequencies).
In order to achieve this Yin-Yang balance, it is possible to set the main value of the Schumann frequency (7.8 Hz) on each of the devices developed by Dr. Ludwig.
All devices automatically emit geomagnetic frequencies whenever a setting/frequency is selected.
In addition, all large devices as well as the small devices MEDICUR®pro, MEDICUR®color, METRONOM solar and METORNOM C always automatically generate the solar frequencies.
Effective magnetic field
